Participants of AtomEco 2013 Will Discuss Projects and Programs of Decomissioning Radioactively Hazardous Enterprises
On October 31 the participants of AtomEco'2013 7th International Forum will attend a round table discussion entitled "Projects and Programs of Decomissioning Radioactively Hazardous Enterprises."
This round-table discussion is organized in cooperation between AVERO Association and Fluor Company with the support of the Director for State Policy in the Sphere of Nuclear Waste Management, Radioactive Waste Management and Decomissioning of Radioactively Hazardous Enterprises of Rosatom State Corporation.
The round-table discussion will cover organizational, managerial and technological aspects of the process of decommissioning large radioactively hazardous enterprises.
The key discussion topic will be the issue of long-term planning and state management of decommissioning large radioactively hazardous enterprises, and setup of necessary bodies to administer this process.
Leading experts in the sphere of decommissioning radioactively hazardous enterprises and their ecological rehabilitation will share their experiences and results.
BACKGROUND: In 2012 the International Forum AtomEco 2013 was attended by about 1,000 participants. 56 companies participated in the exhibition. More than 150 speakers with presentations and reports gave talks at round-table discussions and breakout sessions. The event was covered by more than 50 representatives of Russian and foreign mass media.
